As the new year approaches, I’ve been looking back at all of the amazing experiences during 2014.
Working with the Jaguar team is definitely one of them.
From London to Hollywood, Jaguar sure knows how to treat a girl. Once arriving to Los Angeles, I cruised around Rodeo Drive and Beverly Hills in a badass, supercharged F type covetable Jag. She sure is a beauty and definitely a neck breaker!
It never gets old seeing people’s reaction to this car – especially when in Dynamic mode and you could really hear her engine roar (in this case, purr). It was nice to roll in style to get styled at Thomas Pink w/ the Jaguar Team.
Besides being an absolutely gorgeous hotel, The London West Hollywood offers one of the best meals I have ever indulged in. If you’re a foodie such as myself and have never been to a Gordon Ramsay restaurant, add it to your bucket list ASAP. Their 9 course dinner menu (with wine pairing, of course) at the Chef’s table located inside of the kitchen was an unforgettable experience.
Chef Anthony Kenne was inspirational in many ways. The way he combines fresh local produce with different techniques to create culinary art is incredible. As an artist, I admire his work. Not only did each course taste phenomenal, the presentation was on point. He was also kind enough to explain each meal and answer the many questions I had.
I was in gluttony heaven, and frankly, didn’t know how I was going to fit in my dress for the award show the following day.
The British Academy of Film and Television Arts was nothing short of incredible.
Now I understand the pressure when attending Red Carpet events. After hair & makeup and throwing on my dress, I was out the door and ready to attend the BAFTA awards, honoring Robert Downey JR., Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Mike Leigh, Mark Ruffalo, Emma Watson and Dame Judi Dench. It was very exciting to say the least. As my first red carpet event, I didn’t know what to expect. I was lucky enough to have a strong team behind me for support as we walked down the red carpet. The night was filled with my two of favorite things, great people and a lot of laughs!
…the next day…
Halloween
Halloween in Los Angeles is pretty Serious. Everyone goes ALL out! Even in the pouring rain. I put my evening gown away, brought out my alter ego, Cat Woman, and drove around the city interacting with everyone along the way…
